About Us

Professor Benad Goldwasser has served as chairman of the ScoutCam board of directors since its inception. Prof. Goldwasser is a serial entrepreneur and retired urology medical doctor. In 2016, Prof. Goldwasser launched a venture capital fund partnered with SAIL, a Shanghai Government investment company. Prof. Goldwasser has served as a member of the board of directors of Innoventric Ltd. since 2017. From 2013-2016 Prof. Goldwasser served as an external director of BioCanCell Ltd. (TASE: BICL). Prof. Goldwasser was the co-founder of Vidamed Inc., Medinol Ltd., Rita Medical Inc., Optonol Ltd. and GI View Ltd. Prof. Goldwasser served as managing director of Biomedical Investments Ltd., an Israeli Venture Capital. During his medical career, he served as Chairman of Urology at the Chaim Sheba Medical Center and Professor of Surgery at Tel-Aviv University. Prof. Goldwasser holds an MD and MBA from Tel-Aviv University.

Mr. Moshe Arkin is a leading life science and pharmaceutical entrepreneur and serves as the chairman of Arkin Holdings Ltd., which he founded in 2009. Mr. Arkin has served as chairman of the board of directors of Sol Gel Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: SLGL) since 2014 and sits on the board of directors of several private pharmaceutical and medical device companies, including SoniVie Ltd., a company developing systems for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension, Digma Medical, a company developing systems to treat insulin resistance present in type 2 diabetes and other metabolic syndrome diseases, and Valcare Medical, a company developing heart valve devices. From 2005 to 2008, Mr. Arkin served as the head of generics at Perrigo Company, and from 2005 until 2011, as a member of its board of directors. Prior to joining Sol Gel Technologies Ltd., Mr. Arkin served as a director of cCAM Biotherapeutics Ltd., a company focused on the discovery and development of novel immunotherapies to treat cancer from 2012 until its acquisition in 2015 by Merck & Co., Inc. Mr. Arkin served as chairman of Agis Industries Ltd. from 1972 until its acquisition by Perrigo Company in 2005. Mr. Arkin holds a B.A. in psychology from the Tel Aviv University, Israel.

Shmuel Donnerstein has served on our board of directors since December 26, 2019. Mr. Donnerstein is the chairman and owner of the RB Group. Prior to that, in 1995 Mr. Donnerstein established Open Gallery Door Company, and in 1998 led its merger with Carmiel Timber Plants, which Mr. Donnerstein had acquired prior to the merger. Mr. Donnerstein managed the combined company until 2006. Earlier in his career, Mr. Donnerstein was owner and CEO of Motti Sweets from 1975 until it was acquired by the Strauss Group in 1983. In 2014, Mr. Donnerstein was awarded the Industry Prize from the Manufacturers’ Association of Israel.

Ronen Rosenbloom has served as a member of our Board since December 26, 2019. Mr. Rosenbloom is an independent lawyer working out of a self-owned law firm specializing in white collar offences. Mr. Rosenbloom serves as chairman of the Israeli Money Laundering Prohibition committee and the Prohibition of Money Laundering Committee of the Tel Aviv District, both of the Israel Bar Association. Mr. Rosenbloom previously served as a police prosecutor in the Tel Aviv District. Mr. Rosenbloom holds an LLB from the Ono Academic College, an Israeli branch of University of Manchester.

Over the past 25 years, Mr. Vurembrand has held a number of senior positions in the healthcare and financial industries. Mr. Vurembrand was previously the Chief Executive Officer of Clalit Health Services Group and Kupat Holim Meuhedet, Israel’s largest and third-largest health care organizations, respectively, Alon Holding Blue Square, and Phoenix Investments. Mr. Vurembrand has also served on numerous boards of directors, including Africa Israel Residence Ltd., Discount Bank, U-Bank, Blue Square Israel and Dikla Medical Insurance Ltd and is presently serving on the boards Bezeq Ltd and Isras Ltd. Additionally, he served on the audit committees of several of these publicly traded companies.

Mr. Vurembrand is a graduate of Technion, Israeli Institute of Technology, where he earned a degree in industrial engineering and management.

Lior Amit has served on our board of directors since December 26, 2019. Since 2014, Mr. Amit has served as a financial consultant to multiple companies on matters related to, inter alia, mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Amit currently serves as a member of the board of directors for multiple Israeli public and private companies, including in the role of an external or independent director. Mr. Amit holds both a BA in economics and accounting and an MBA from Tel-Aviv University. Mr. Amit is a certified public accountant in Israel.

Inbal is currently Head of Innovation at the Systems, Missiles and Space Division of the Israeli Aerospace Industries Ltd. (IAI) and Chairwoman of RAKIA, Israel’s 2nd Scientific and Technological Mission to the International Space Station. Since 2013, she has been Deputy Director of the Space Division at IAI, leading the development, construction, launch and operation of observation and communication satellites for both Israeli and foreign users. She led the IAI team responsible for the design and build of Israel’s first lunar lander, Beresheet that held the country spellbound on its inspirational voyage to the moon in April 2019. Throughout her career she has held leadership positions within IAI, including chief engineer of Israel’s Arrow 2 anti- ballistic missile defense system (2000-2006) and project manager of the Arrow 3 exo-atmospheric interceptor (2007-2013). Her leadership in Defense Development & Innovation has contributed significantly to Israel’s deterrence abilities, and capacity to respond to evolving security challenges.

Born in Israel, the eldest daughter to Raya and Amnon Biran, Inbal received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering with honors from the Technion, the Israeli Institute of Technology, Haifa (1988). She went on to receive an Executive Master in Business Administration (E.M.B.A) with honors from Tel Aviv University (1996), and completed a visiting research fellowship at the Aeronautics & Astronautics Department, of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, US (2006-7). Inbal is married to Yitshak, they have 3 children and live in Shoham, Israel.

Yehu Ofer (Col., res.), is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ScoutCam. Yehu was appointed CEO of ScoutCam in October 2022. As CEO, Yehu is lending his decades of experience to ScoutCam’s continued growth and success.
Prior to joining ScoutCam, Yehu served as a colonel (now retired) in the IAF, commanding two operational squadrons before commanding “Wing 15”, the optic and electronic intelligence wing of the IAF. In his last position, Yehu served as Israel Defense Attaché to Italy, Greece, Serbia, and Croatia, where he oversaw the largest ever government-to-government transaction between Israel and Italy. Upon his retirement from the Israel Defense Forces in 2013, Mr. Ofer joined Elbit Systems Ltd. in its electro-optics unit as a technology development and program manager in airborne optic and laser solutions. Mr. Ofer also managed Elbit System’s aerospace division as VP of large-scale development programs and VP of the Brazil business unit. In his last position at Elbit Systems, Mr. Ofer served as VP of Global Business Development, Marketing and Sales, a position he held since 2020. Mr.
Yehu earned an MBA from the University of Haifa, a Bachelor of Economics and Logistics (cum laude) from Bar-Ilan University in Tel Aviv, and a degree from the National Security College in Tel Aviv.

Tatiana Yosef has been serving as our Chief Financial Officer since March 22, 2019 and as Chief Financial Officer of our majority held subsidiary ScoutCam, Inc. since December 27, 2019. Ms. Yosef is a certified public accountant with many years of experience, who has served as the Company’s controller since December 2009. During 2008-2009 Ms. Yosef worked in the audit department at Kesselman& Kesselman, a member firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers International Limited. Ms. Yosef holds a Bachelor degree in Economics and Accounting from the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

Over 20 years of experience in medical devices R&D. Prior to ScoutCam, Amir has been CTO of Medigus and has been responsible for the development of the MUSE™ device as well as the ScoutCam micro camera family of products. Amir has over 30 issued patents.

Katrin Dlugach has served as our VP of Research and Development since July 1, 2019. Prior to her position with ScoutCam, Ms. Dlugach was a system engineer and project manager at Nanofabrica Ltd. from August 2018 to June 2019. Before that, Ms. Dlugach served in a number of roles, including chief of development and chief executive officer, at Nitinotes Ltd. from 2014 until 2018. Earlier in her career, Ms. Dlugach held a variety of R&D positions at Medigus Ltd. (Nasdaq: MDGS). Ms. Dlugach holds a B.Sc., M.Sc. and MBA from Ben-Gurion University, Israel.

Arik brings over 20 years of experience in leading multidisciplinary R&D and engineering teams in defining and navigating product development from concept to deployment, with a focus on cloud-based architectures and AI-based technologies.

Prior to joining ScoutCam, Arik held several senior technology positions, most recently as CTO of Octopol, where he combined state-of-the-art AI models together with cutting-edge software technology. Prior to Octopol, Arik served as Director of Technology at Green & Gold Analytics, where he established partnerships with Microsoft and Amazon Web Services. Arik also previously served as VP R&D and established the Israeli innovation center of Landesk (currently named Ivanti). Arik earned both his BSc in Computer Science and Economics and MBA from Bar-Ilan University.

Director of QA & RA at ScoutCam. B.Sc in pharmaceutical engineering and M.Sc in quality and reliability engineering. A certified quality manager (ICMQ) from the Israel Society for Quality (ISQ). Highly experienced in medical devices’ quality, including quality control and quality assurance. Experienced in working under ISO standards (9001, 13485), FDA (510(k) and reporting), MDD (CE mark, reporting). Ronen is a leader in internal audits plan, performing internal and external audits (at the vendors’ facilities), leading the notify body’s audits at ScoutCam’s. An experienced process validation and protocols director.

Jacob is Senior Vice President, Product Portfolio, which operates globally and includes aviation, aerospace, mobility, energy and more. Under Jacob’s leadership, ScoutCam is working along with customers to lead the Predictive Maintenance (PdM) and Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) markets with its visualization and AI platform, providing video sensor-based solutions for critical systems in the aviation, transportation, and energy industries.
Jacob has more than 15 years of development, operations and leadership experience with a variety of industries and organizations, including Elbit Systems, where he led the Helmet Mounted displays and Sensors Advanced Capabilities R&D group of the Aerospace division. Prior to joining Elbit Systems, he served for 6 years in the Israeli Air-Force, where he served as a Computer Vision System Engineer as well as the Commander, Electronic Systems Development Group.
Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Ort Braude College, as well as a Master of Science degree from Ben-Gurion University with a focus on Electro-Optical Engineering. Prior to that, Jacob studies at the Israeli Air-Force Academy, majoring in Practical Engineering, Electronics.

Senior General Counsel, Contracts and Sales

As Senior General Counsel, Contracts and Sales, Kfir Granit heads ScoutCam’s legal and contractual functions.
Granit brings almost two decades of experience providing in-house legal counseling for global companies in the Defense and Hi-Tech sectors as well as a board member and legal advisor in public and private corporations worldwide. Prior to assuming the position in ScoutCam, Granit was a Managing Legal Counsel at Plarium Global Ltd., where he facilitated partnerships in the Online Gaming industry. Before that he was a senior legal counsel at Elbit Systems Ltd. for more than a dozen years before joining Plarium Global Ltd. At Elbit Systems Ltd., Granit achieved track record in the Aerospace Division, where he took a leading role in contract negotiations to achieve multi-million $ growth, identifying risks in various business opportunities and mitigating them, gave consistent support to the sales and marketing pipelines, including a major role in billion-dollar PPP/PFI projects. Independent and success oriented, with strong business interpersonal communication skills while elegantly managing business/risk tension.
Granit obtained his Bachelor of Law degree from the Hebrew University in 2004, and his Master of Law from the University of California, Berkeley, and Tel-Aviv University in 2013.
